But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
St. James’ Episcopal church is an historic church built in 1863 whose members are a small diverse group of adult worshipers coming from a variety of faith backgrounds. All are welcome to worship with us using the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. We sing praises, pray together, read and listen to scriptures, and celebrate God’s love for his creation. Being a tiny rural church, we feel like family getting to know one another in meaningful ways, growing spiritually and in service to one another, the community and beyond.
