The Mission and Beliefs of St. James' Episcopal
We Believe in God, in Jesus Christ the Son of God, and in the Holy Spirit.
The Creeds are statements of our basic beliefs. We will always have questions, but the two foundational statements of faith – the Apostles’ Creed used at Baptism, and the Nicene Creed used at communion – affirm our faith in the one God who created us, redeemed us, and sanctifies us.
The Bible is our foundation containing all things necessary for salvation. Our worship is filled with scripture from beginning to end.
Episcopalians are part of a living and dynamic faith that seeks to love God and neighbor, and to serve the world as Christ’s hands and feet.
Our faith is a living faith, and our church is a community. The only way to know what Episcopalians believe is to come and see for yourself. We invite you to worship with us, pray with us, and sing with us.
